Classy

Hi Classy team, I’m Alex Panganiban, a young UX designer here in San Diego and I’m interested in the Product Designer role at your company!

I’d love to use my design skills to help make the world a better place. As someone whose partner was affected by cancer, I consistently participated in my university’s annual Relay for Life events. Therefore, I know the importance of fundraising for a cause you believe in. A well-designed platform, like Classy, can help encourage people to support their causes without a second-thought. I believe in Classy and their goal to help people tackle the world’s problems.

I am very familiar with the Design Thinking process. From empathizing with users, defining their problems, generating solutions, prototyping and iterating. You can see some of the projects I’ve completed here.

My previous work experience at a marketing agency, gave me the opportunity to interact with my colleagues as well as clients. I’ve presented and defended my design decisions as well as received valuable design feedback.

While working on projects, I had the opportunity to conduct my own primary research in the form of user interviews. From the interviews, I derived user insights and needs which helped me stay user-focused as I progressed through a design.

In order to generate a wider variety of ideas and solutions to problems, I’ve also led and organized a group brainstorming session (below).
